SOLVED: help with a rock song

whenever i hear teh song on the radio (always an 80's rock station) its always around the same part of the song, which is about the last minute of the song

during this last minute there is a guitar playing a pretty recognizable melody with people singing quietly in the background. it sounds like they are saying "everybody needs somebody" or something like that while the guitar melody repeats and the singers repeat as well. i think the song doesnt end, but instead just fades as the loop goes on.

anyone have any idea what this song is?

Its not eights but with those lyrics is the new one from Nickleback called Gotta Be Somebody.
Other than that ...I dont' know!

thanks for trying but these songs arent it. in the song im thinking of it the last part seems a little eerie and the people chanting in a sort of whisper while the guitar is playing a pretty high note riff
