early 90s tune

hi guys,

been trying to dig the back of my head for a decent line of this song that's most likely from the early 90s but could be during the late 80s as i'm an '85 baby.

anyway, the music video was animated if i remember correctly with emphasis on a guy walking up the street where in the background you can see apartments. for some reason, it felt like it had a fido-dido drawing style.

a line from that song probably had "baby baby i'm..."

sorry for being ever so vague. but i've tried listening to late 80s and 90s compilations and still can't seem to find that song.

they are both animated in that fido-dido kinda style you mentioned, and the first one features a guy walking through the streets hugging people.

thanks guys for the input but i'm afraid none of them are the ones.

what else can i remember about the video...it was at night, plenty of black. yeah, the buildings were black in colour and the lines were probably drawn in gray.

i'll try narrowing down the time-line abit here, 1989-1991?

perhaps someone could list down all animated videos during these years and i'll youtube each one of them.

can you watch the Aha video and verify if that is what you mean by fido-dido?
the term used on the web seems to be "rotoscope"
this would help narrow the search

i've watched the Aha video before. what i meant by 'fido-dido' is the way the lines of the characters in the music video were drawn.

honestly, i can't think of anything else that could help me narrow down my search.

none of them are. vocals are male. it's definitely a song from the early 90s.

i've finally found out the name of that song! sorry for misleading all of you with the lyrics "baby baby i'm...".

anyway, the song is Motown Song by Rod Stewart.

WOW! i'm so glad after at least a decade, i've finally heard that song again.
