Help! I only know the cd color

I know this is a shot in the dark... but I was trying to remember a song I loved about 8 years ago. I first heard it in the late 90s. It was on a yellow cd with orange or red writing. I thought it was a band with a number in its name, but searching those online didn't turn up much. Rock song, the disc was something I found... no writing on it, but someone once told me who they thought it was and now I can't remember. Never heard it on radio... and help would be appreciated!
