I like very much the rhythm of this song but cannot understand the lyrics. I tried searching for translations but could not find anything.

Firstly, I would like to ask if anyone can translate the lyrics and secondly ask 4 your opinion. Is there any particular aspect of the african music (tradition, etc ) which makes the rhythm of this song so vibrant and, don't know, refreshing maybe or it's just one more nice song and that's all.
