Staples - female rock band - "Here I am.. on my own"

Goodness gracious I can not remember the lyrics of this song to identify who sings it!!

I know it sounds funny, but I was at a local Staples, and I heard a song kind of like this:

"Here I am, on my own.. " <something> and I think it was "I'm already alone"..
I also heard "once again"

It was a female. Definitely some form of rock, but it was a female band. the "here I am, on my own" was the chorus.
