help identify this alt/rock ish song

Alright, well, I heard this one song in art class.
the teacher was using Pandora.cOm and it starts out with the guy singing in a regular type guy voice. but
throughout the song he sings some verses[or chorus] with a slightly higher pitched sound than his regular singing voice [or maybe it's the backup vocalist i'm not sure cuz idk who sings it]

and some part of the chorus sounds like

"So kill me now kill me now kill me nooooooow"
it could be kick or kiss i just know the word starts with a K.

and it's not, the killers song. i listened to it to see if it was it, but no.
