New member = no smiley's? Smiley and edit buttons questions.

I was going through a thread and I tried to multi quote, however it doesn't seen to work for me. I click multiquote on the few posts I want to reply to but it only shows the last one I clicked on.

Also, I tried to add smiley's to my post but I don't see any, it won't show them unless I write the whole HTML code or copy and paste a smiley from another thread using the [img] -----[/img] which I have to write as well.

Are these only for members with certain number of posts/points??

PS, clicking on "Go advanced" does not change my screen at all.

OMG!! I got it now.


I am such an idiot. Sorry all, I just changed my Message Editor from Basic to Standard and see all the tools now.
