Hello there, let me introduce myself!

Hello everyone,

Since I was a litte kid I've heard songs of the singer Zdravko Colic.
This was because my mom loved his songs - she is from the formal Yugoslavia, Belgrad. When I grew up I forgot about the Serbian music, until a few years ago.
I found some old songs and it refreshed my memory. Unfortunately I didn't understand every word of the songs. I do understand Serbian quite a bit though. Still, I can't really speak it very well, just understand a little.
I do love the language and I would adore to learn it even more.
So that's why I want to know what the songs are really all about, every sentence, every word. I searched on Google and found this forum. It looks amazing, totally what I need!

So, this is whý I joined the forum.
Now something more personal about me.
My name is Angela and I am 17 years old. Born in The Netherlands. My mom came here when she was 11, she was born in Belgrad. My dad is born here, in Holland. I have a lot of Serbain family, as well in Holland as in Serbia.
I am an artsit and I want to become a fashion designer.
I love almost all kinds of music. I am beginner poledancer and I work out three times a week. I love the color pink and, how weird it may sound, I am a Hello Kitty fan!
I am vert tall, that's why I also do modelling jobs. I go to an art school. I have a boyfriend now for 1,5 years. He is half Phillipine half Dutch. I forgot to tell I also have a sister. She is horrible in understanding Serbian, haha!

We don't visit Serbia a lot. I have been there now three or four times.. And this year I will go again! I really hope to learn the langauge a bit better and I hope this forum will help me out in translating and stuff.
