Well, i don't know word "Estarabim" in turkish. I just found in internet that it means "orphaned land". May be someone can explain me what is the word it is

well, I don't think that Estarabim means "orphaned land", I don't know Turkish (apparently), but I know that Orphaned Land (a metal band) had performed this song for many times, so perhaps things got mixed for the translator, Probably its a nick name or something.

Estarabim has no mean in Turkish. Erkin koray made it up. That's why the translation shoud be estarabim estarabim not orphaned land.

Maybe, but if Erkin Koray put some meaning in it, nobody can know it but him. We should ask him that what he meant when he wrote this word.
