Hello, never get song lyrics right or who sings them

I was thinking about old songs today and there are these bits and pieces in my mind and I think I will never know what songs they were. But this forum might be a big help, provided I can remember enough to post!

I remembered that 80's song Dr. Love today and it stuck with me all day, love it. I forget who sings it. And last night I heard "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" (Baby) by The Gap Band. Well, my exercise routine really got going at that point.

Too many times it seems to me that the 80's were Pat Benatar and Madonna and Michael Jackson and Culture Club but there was so much more that's played a lot less, if not forgotten completely.
