Bulgarian folklor & emblematic songs

I've just heard Pasha Hristova - "edna bulgarska roza" and it crossed my mind to post it here for people loving Bulgaria.There's a thread bout Bulgarian pop-folk and it's ashaming to miss our folk songs

This is the interpretation of my favourite folklore singer - Stefka Sabotinova. She is a solist in the "Mystery of the bulgarian voices". She is the only one bulgarian folklore singer who has won the Grammy Award. Very talanted, must hear.

* I`m not sure is that the right translation of the word, but is similar to the original

My favourite song is "Daniova mama" but that one sung by Blinka Dobreva Well I can hardly understand her, is she singing in like some kind of archeic bulgarian ?

Most of our folklore songs are sang in an old bulgarian language (In fact the bulgarian language changes in every day. So what can we say for ...20 years So that`s why it`s so dificult for us to translate our folk songs. And when you put our dialects in the mixture there happens a thing we call манджа с грозде

манджа с грозде ... sounds like something to eat xD
