I'm a drama queen too sometimes.

But here is the KING of Drama/Disco/Pop. I love his music no matter what anybody says!

Oh, yeah... Those great artists, they often behaved as we never imagined!

I appreciate the '80s only from Michael Jackson's music ; it's strange but at that time he seemed to be more natural... (I'm not against anybody!!! , please don't ask me for explanations again!!! - you know what I said about Barbra )

This song I couldn't stop listening to it for months in the late '80s; I was totally overwhelmed by this song - I was teenager at that time

Oh, I don't know what you're talking about G., I think you got me confused with someone else. Gosh, you've got pretty good memory!

Yes, in the 80's Michael was natural, but that's his business; today everyone in Hollywood seems to be cutting themselves up too. He is, how shall I say it, a little eccentric for sure, but he was not found guilty of anything & I only care about his music, not his private life.

Back to music: the song I was totally addicted to back then (and even now!) was Billie Jean.

I meant about his perpetual aesthetic surgery and about changing of the colour of the skin - that is so unnatural. This is what I meant. I liked him as a black man

You are right, Billie Jean is that kind of song good enough to be addicted to

A last song before me going to sleep (here is midnight and this saturday I have to go to my job )

    V A N I L L A F U D G E - You Keep Me Hanging On

I like this version most; less the Supreme's version and least Kim Wilde's version.

Yes, of course I knew what you meant about MJ!. When I said I didn't know what you were talking about, I was referring to your comments above in brackets.

I don't know Vanilla Fudge, I don't remember them at all, but I prefer the Supremes version of that song.

Eyy geo what do you exactly mean by drama, you know, in a musical context?

First thing that pops up in my mind is this: Drama Queen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy1fdc3H6xs And I just have one thing to say to that song: Oh-my-God!

To be honest I'd never heard about it before, it's a music genre, right?
I checked out a couple of songs, but it's just not quite my taste, I guess ...

I don't know if this song is dramatic, but the lyrics kinda seemed theatrical to me, and it's a kinda sweet story, so I thought I'd post it here

    Self-Conclusion by The Spill Canvas

    Fade in, start the scene
    Enter beautiful girl
But things are not what they seem
As we stand at the edge of the world

    "Excuse me, sir,
But I have plans to die tonight
Oh, and you are directly in my way
And I bet you're gonna say it's not right"
    My reply:
    "Excuse me, miss
But do you have the slightest clue
Of exactly what you just said to me
And exactly who you're talking to?"

She said, "I don't care, you don't even know me"
I said, "I know but I'd like to change that soon, hopefully"
Yeah, we all flirt with the tiniest notion
Of self conclusion in one simplified motion
You see the trick is that you're never supposed to act on it
No matter how unbearable this misery gets

"You make it sound so easy to be alive
But tell me, how am I supposed to seize this day
When everything inside me has died?"
    My reply:
    "Trust me, girl
I know your legs are pleading to leap
But I offer you this easy choice-
Instead of dying, living with me"

She said, "Are you crazy? You don't even know me."
I said, "I know, but I'd like to change that soon hopefully"
Yeah, we all flirt with the tiniest notion
Of self conclusion in one simplified motion
You see the trick is that you're never supposed to act on it
No matter how unbearable this misery gets

I would be lying if I said that things would never get rough
And all this cliche motivation, it could never be enough
I could stand here all night trying to convince you
But what good would that do?
My offer stands, and you must choose

"All right, you win, but I only give you one night
To prove yourself to be better than my attempt at flight
I swear to god if you hurt me I will leap
I will toss myself from these very cliffs
And you'll never see it coming"
"Settle, precious, I know what you're going through
Just ten minutes before you got here I was gonna jump too"

Yeah we all flirt with the tiniest notion
Of self conclusion in one simplified motion
You see the trick is that you're never supposed act on it
No matter how unbearable this misery gets
