Quisqueya = is a name for the island of Hispaniola in the Taíno language meaning "mother of the earth", but also used to refer to the Dominican Republic, one of the two countries on this island

probably in the lyrics, means only island ....

QUISQUEYA is another name we use to reffer to the Dominican Republic. Being that Romeo (lead singer of Aventura) is Dominican, he uses the example of snow in QUISQUEYA or DR as not being normal, because it is a tropical island and it wouldnt be normal if it snowed, just like her not loving him would also not be normal.
