**In the context, I think it should be "geamăni," twins, another possible typo.

-gemene is the feminine for gemeni (twins)

@Jun, the imperfect (for some verbs) in the form of eu & noi are the same. In this case, "citeam" & "eram" are used for both eu & noi & since neither "eu" or "noi" are used, I guess it's open for interpretation.

But in the previous line, the singer talks about "us' being happy...so it's probably "like the stories WE used to read."

Hmmm.... The imperfect tense always confuses me between "eu" and "noi." Not trying to milk a dead cow if I truly am wrong, but the thing that stood out for me was the "mica." I never found a place where I could modify adjectives, so correct me if I'm wrong, but if she was talking about themselves wouldn't she use "mici?"

citeam and eram are both referring to me and u know is i from the form of adjective mica (feminine, singular)

if it was mici then citeam and eram wouldve referred to us
