I liked a song I heard in Lowes the other day, but by the time I decided I *really* liked it, there were only about 30 seconds left to record, and there were no vocals left. Sorry for the low quality of the recording. I got as close as I could to the muzak speaker but the music wasn't that loud, and all I had was a voice recorder.

The singer either was Stevie Nicks or a more recent singer who sounds like her. If you can't quite make out the beat and chords, the tempo is about 72, meter is 4/4, and the chords cycle through this progression three times: Eb, Bb minor, F, F. The production sounds to me like it could have been recorded any time from 1996 to the present. The mood of the song is contemplative, even a bit brooding.

I'm grateful for this forum and I look forward to any suggestions! So far the longest I've waited to ID a song is 24 years. Let's hope this one goes a little better!

    Yours Musically,

Oh my gosh, bugmenot, not to bug you but I must thank you! Here I thought I was in for another 24 year mystery, and you solved it for me in no time. I'm impressed. That wasn't the best recording!
