Solved: Unknown bad old 80s song

Hi guys, i'm after another song! I hate this song but i have no idea who sings it or what it's called and it's driving me insane, i have to know what it is!

It's probably 80s, and the chorus sounds a bit like the intro of Power Of Love by Huey Lewis when the synthy/brassy chords are played. There is a band playing in the background full of brassy/synth/guitars. A woman is singing, and she sings something like this in the chorus:
Put the power , like i want you to
put the power, i will go there too
vanuatu, want to go there to
i'm the one you need, i'm the one you need

These are probably not the real lyrics, and 'power' could be 'fire' or 'higher' or anything. I'm pretty sure it says 'im the one you need' in it though. The Huey Lewis like music is playing in the background in the chorus and the chords change where she pauses in between saying 'put the power' and 'like i want you to.'
