I've already translated some Hungarian songs, and I decided to post some of them, hope nobody minds.

COME BACK ITINERANT - Bergendy: Jöjj vissza vándor

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0TcYQdNXDo

    The Itinerant has gone,
In his sac he took away all the flavors of Summer
Crowns of Forests, and brindle colors of Meadows
    Everything is covered by Autumn.
We are waiting in chilly daze.

    The Itinerant has gone,
On his journey swallows and cranes all went with him.
He went far away, where grass is green, and sky is blue.
    Where they don’t know, what’s snow…
    Summer is hot and moveless.

    They went far away,
Because there Winter does not move into hearts.
The itinerant and cranes are all waiting,
That hoar is going to pass away.
And flames, lights are going to come back.
Into our hearts new hopes are all getting back again.
Long ago forgotten memories are alive,
    When Spring is near by.

    Come back Itinerant!
Bring back into our hearts, the sweet flavour of Summer,
Crowns of Forests and Brindle colors of Meadow!
Bring back to our hearts the warm of Summer!

    Come back Itinerant…
Bring back into our hearts, the sweet flavour of Summer,
Crowns of Forests and Brindle colors of Meadows!
Bring back to our hearts the warm of Summer…

    DEMJÉN FERENC_ HONFOGLALÁS

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QrcBRcJO18

Kell még egy szó, mielőtt mennél.
I need one more word, before You leave,
Kell még egy ölelés, ami végig elkísér.
I need one more hug, which accompanies me till the end.

Az úton majd néha, gondolj reám -
On the way, please sometimes think of me,
ez a föld a tiéd, ha elmész visszavár!
This land is yours, if you leave, it waits you back.

Nézz rám és lásd csillagokra lépsz,
Look at me and see you step on stars.
nézz rám tovatűnt a régi szenvedés,
Look at me, the old suffering has passed away.
hol a fák az égig érnek
Where the trees grow up to the sky,
    ott megérint a fény.
    Where the light touches you.
    Tudod jól, hova mész -
You know very well, where you are going,
    de végül hazatérsz!
But finally you will return home.

    Refr.:
    Szállj, szállj sólyom szárnyán három hegyen túl;
Fly, Fly on the wings of falcon, over three mountains,
Szállj, szállj ott/én várok rád, ahol véget ér az út...
Fly, Fly, I’m waiting you where the road ends.

Úgy kell, hogy te is értsd -
It must be like, that you can understand,
    nem éltél hiába.
you have not lived for nothing.

Az a hely, ahol élsz - világnak világa.
That the place where you live, is the world of world.

Az égig érő fának, ha nem nő újra ága
If the sky high tree, would not grow branch again.
úgy élj, te legyél - virágnak virága!
Live like, You to be the flower of flower.

    Szállj, szállj sólyom szárnyán három hegyen túl;
Fly, Fly on the wings of falcon, over three mountains,
Szállj, szállj ott/én várok rád, ahol véget ér az út...
Fly, Fly, I’m waiting you where the road ends.

    Nézz rám, s ne ígérj;
Look at me, and do not promise,
    Nézz rám sose félj -
Look at me, and never be afraid.
Ha nincs hely, ahol élj - indulj hazafelé!
If you have no place to live, start coming home.

Hello! Can I have some translation help too, please? The Moon and the Nightspirit has a song called Égi Táltos. I really like the song and I'm curious about the lyrics' meaning.

    Link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Stl9yl9lgWQ
    Lyrics:

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Álomszotte éjben
    Sarlós Anyánk
    Vigyázza lépted

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Magasból a Mélybe
    Kisérje Utad
    Öreg Isten Fénye

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Csillagos Ösvényen
    Magos Mennynek Háza Népe
    Oltalmazzon Téged

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Hét Világnak Ore
    Szello Szárnyán, Vízek Árján
    Vágtass a Messzeségbe

There you go I've underlined a letter, cause you wrote "magos" which should be "magas" , magos menny - core heaven , and you have high heaven here

    Hope everything else is clear!

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Ride Celestial Shaman
    Álomszotte éjben
    In dream woven night
    Sarlós Anyánk
    May our Sickle Mother
    Vigyázza lépted
    Watch over your steps

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Ride Celestial Shaman
    Magasból a Mélybe
    From heights to depths
    Kisérje Utad
    May it accompany your journey
    Öreg Isten Fénye
The Light of the Old God

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Ride Celestial Shaman
    Csillagos Ösvényen
    On star trail
    Magas Mennynek Háza Népe
May the house and nation of the high heaven
    Oltalmazzon Téged
    protect you

    Vágtass Égi Táltos
    Ride Celestial Shaman
    Hét Világnak Ore
    Guard of seven worlds
    Szello Szárnyán, Vízek Árján
On the wings of breeze, and waters of Aryan
    Vágtass a Messzeségbe
    Ride off into the distance

Oh, how interesting lyrics! I suppose they're referring to the moon as the god? Lovely. Many thanks for the help, tigress tim.

Rost: Yes, they're referring to the moon as a god, because in the old hungarian religion there were 2 gods: Öregisten (Old God) and Holdanya (Mother Moon). And it's magOs mennynek háza népe... Because the old hungarian language says magos instead og magas, but the meaning is the same.
