I think it might have been "fumar" and "mal" (if so, is "to smoke" and "bad"), which make more sense put together.

In English sometimes "a" and "o" have close (if not the same) pronunciations.

Hola amigos, ahora estoy estudiando espanol y quiero practicar con alguien Yo se que mi idioma no es tan buen, pero creo que con ejercicios voy a ser mejor.

So hello from me, I don't know if I wrote everything right, I hope at least it's understandable Soo I am studying Spanish currently as I love the language. And I need somebody to practice with, because in order to learn a language one has to practice it a lot Soo I hope here I will have this chance :] later I may try to translate songs and texts, and native speakers could correct me

    soo hasta luego amigos :]

¡Ja! Pero por supuesto te ayudaremos. Yo aún me acuerdo de todas las clases de inglés que tuve que aguantar sin ayuda de personas con el inglés como su lengua materna...

estoy muy feliz que puedo practirac aqui primero quiero preguntar cuando vosotros usais ese "se" ante de palabras
I mean do you always use it before the verbs like "se entiende lo" means it's understandable --- I know that "lo " is "is" and entender is "to understand" but this "se" I quite don't get it soo help pls

"Se" is a reflective particle, called in Spanish "partícula pronominal".

It means (mostly) that it refers back to what it's already stated, and also gives us the subject.

"Se entiende lo que escribiste"-->lit: (referring back to your post) It's understandable what you have written.

    Other examples:

    Golpeé a María--->I hit María.

María me golpeó--> María hit me; Yo me golpeé---> I hit myself (more among the lines of "I got hurt, but you're smart, you get the idea)

    The reflective particles are:

me---> Refers back to 1st person singular yo.

te---> Refers back to 2nd person singular tú/vos

nos--->Refers back to 1st person plural nosotros

os---->Refers back to 2nd person plural vosotros.

se---> Refers back to 3rd person singular & plural él-ella/ellos-ellas and the formal usted and to general statements (think when in English is "it is + past" in Spanish is "se + 3rd person singular present"; Eg "It is understood that..."--->"Se entiende que...").

Note that when referring to the 3rd person, SE is replaced by LE(S) (depending on number) if the action is performed on the subject by another person.

    Example.

Ellos se golpearon al caer--->(lit) They hit themselves when they fell.

A ellos les golpearon--->(lit) They were hit (by some other person).

"A" indicates to whom the action is directed. (Golpearon a María--->lit (they) Hit María).

Also, remember that the verb must agree with the subject you're referring to.

I'm sorry if my explanation is a bit confusing. I know it's a lot to bear in mind but as you practice you'll get better at it. Any further doubts just PM me or post here =). I'm just trying to be helpful.
