Hi Everyone,
I need help trying to figure out the name and artist of an easy listening style pop song.
The singer is a female and the song ends with serveral chorus rounds of "doot doo doot."
The "doot doo doot" chorus plays throughout the song in between the verses.
The song has sort of 60's chorus vibe and I heard it at a restaurant that's serviced by MUZAK.
There's also this guitar solo that sounds like a harpsichord. It's a unique sound.
That's all the info I have and any help would be most welcomed.
THANKS!

the genre is sort of EASY LISTENING / LOUNGE ....
it certainly isn't disco, rap, reggae, soul, blues, funk, R&B, punk, metal, top 40, alternative, acoustic, gospel, nor countryLast edited by justagirl5; 10-02-2009 at 11:03 AM.

Try this song:
"Nothing In This World" by Paris Hilton
http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/song...World/13807817 -
no.... that's not it either
Definitely not Paris Hilton.
The song I'm talking about has sort of a 60's lounge feel.
And there's several choruses within the song that go something like this:
Dara Dah
Dara
Da Da Daradara Dah
Dara
Da Da Darah
Da Daaaah
(and so forth)
The song also ends in SEVERAL of these same choruses.
Please note that I'm not sure if the actual vocal sound is "DA" or "DOOT."
However, the chorus tempo lines as I just wrote them are acurate.
Lastly, there's a distinct guitar solo near the end that comes in between the choruses.
It has sort of an electrical harpsichord kind of sound.
I don't think anyone is going to solve this oneLast edited by justagirl5; 10-03-2009 at 09:52 PM.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you for making an effort to figure this puzzle out.
But as of yet, this puzzle remains unsolved. -
OK...
I bugged my BF to hum out the melody of the song as he remembers it into my cell phone recorder.
He was with me when we heard it at the restaurant and this is the small part of the melody he remembers:

I apologize if the sound is horrible but it was recorded through my cell phone and my BF can't sing to save his life. lol
Anyway, hopefully one of you out there will recognize the melody and identify the song. -
Quiet storm instrumental
The song is Moments in Love by Art of Noise. I was also looking for this song and found it on a different thread on this same site, thanks to gia1522.

The Cranberries have two songs with "Doot Doo Doot" lyrics.
I believe one is called "I Can't Be With You" and I think the other is "When You're Gone".Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title -
