* alter Hase = old rabbit (literal translation) = German expression for a person that has been in the game for a long time, leo suggested = an old stager
** Bau = has several possible meanings, the lyrics are playing with the ambiguity of the word, here it could mean "a den" (which goes along with the "old rabbit" in the line before) or it can be slang for "jail" ("brig"?) or just be a symbol for any place to hide
*** Sprüche klopfen = to tell phrases or jokes (showing off a little by saying meaningless empty phrases or teasing s.o.); jemandes Schulter klopfen = to pat s.o. on the back / shoulder (for comfort, courage, admiration or just as a sign of friendship or understanding)

I tried to listen on your link but couldn't figure out how.
I went to Amazon.de and could listen to the album sample. I didn't get to hear too much but it sounds nice and I really like the music. They make interesting songs and music.
