Default HELP: Late 80s/Early 90s Rock/Metal "Come Along"

Editing this post with better details. If anyone has the answer to this at ANY time, POST it. Even if I haven't logged in for two years, I will still see your response.

The lyrics I remember are from the chorus: "Come aLONG! dippy doo, doo-doo doo-doo-doo!"

I talked with a family member who is the only other person I know heard it... we're sure it was a metal/rock song that actually fit with the station's genre. Personally, I'm thinking hair/glam metal, most likely a guy shrieking. This song on the radio when I was rather young. It aired on a local heavy metal/rock station called 14X (here in western NY). The station was only on from Sept 1990 to Sept 1991, so this song had to have been released in 1991 or earlier.

Me singing it in a horrible sound clip:

I almost thought I'd found it when I came across "Come Along" by Salty Dog, but there's no "dippy doo" part in it. That was the whole reason we laughed hysterically at the song and it became an inside joke. Obviously, I might have the words wrong. I've realized this from hunting down other songs from my past.

I've been searching for a couple years at this point. I've searched words with every possible combination of things that sound like 'come' 'along' 'dippy'... 'come around, come alone, kumma, gonna, etc etc'... I've browsed through Amazon's and Youtube's lists of songs with said title. Now I'm going through all the new album releases from 1990-1991 and going backwards from there, to see what might fit. I'm thinking it was either a local song, or something that had just come out and then never made it big, because I never heard it again or saw a video for it, etc.

I'm so serious about getting this song. It's my white whale. If you can help, you are AWESOME.

    Thank you.

Sorry, not that, though the end part is similar.
    And plenty of shrieking.

This song was released in 1988.
At 1:06, 2:06, and 3:12 these lyrics are sung:
See ya later, see ya later
    Hip-a-no-no-no-no
    Hip-a-no-no-no-no
    See ya later, call me
