We have a separate forum for such requests so, feel free to ask (especially for recipe translation hehe). I was just struggling today with a recipe I translated from English years ago and only now I figured out the main ingredient isn't animal but vegetable fat but well.. we live and learn lol

    1 dekagram (dkg) = = 10 grams = 0.352 739 619 496 ounces (oz)

15 dkg margarine (this should be table margarine - for cakes)
    4 eggs
    1 Vanilla sugar (usually there's 10g in a bag)
    25 dkg sugar
    30 dkg flour
    1/2 baking powder (usually there's 10g in a bag)
    1/2 l milk
    2 spoons rum
    3 dkg cocoa powder
    1 spoon milk
    powdered sugar for sprinkling

Beat together margarine, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla sugar until foamy. Then add milk, rum and alternately add flour, mixed with baking powder, and beaten egg whites.

Divide the mixture into two parts. Stir in cocoa butter and 1 spoon of milk into one part and leave the other part yellow.
Then alternately add yellow and brown mixture, spoon by spoon, into a greased and floured mold and then bake at 185 C for about an hour. Sprinkle the hot cake with powdered sugar.

    Enjoy!
