90's psychedelic rock

trying to find a song from a psychedelic rock song from the mid 90's some of the lyrics something like '' plastic men'' ? I kind of remember the video on MTV which was werid i think something to do clouds in the sky? Any ideas?

You could be thinking of "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" which was originally done by the band Status Quo in 1968.
