    Default Niyaz - Allah Mazara

Niyaz is very Sufi-influenced and has been producing music involving the Silk-Road countries such as Iran (Old Persia), India (Hindustan including Pakistan), Afghanistan, Turkey, and the Far East such as Burma, that became a part of India under the British colonialism in the 19th Centry. The band, spearheaded by Azam Ali have mainly focused on composing in languages unique to Farsi, Hindi and Urdi; basically a blend of the three languages. Urdu was born from the wedlock of Persian and Hindi when poets would gather under the Mughal Empire and compose masterpieces.

ALLAH MAZARA (Thy (God) Reign Supreme) by Abbas Aramideh

    MP3 Version: http://www.mediafire.com/?jme0tzzbnbm

    * From my understanding, 'mazara' in the colloquial sense refers to graves and tombstones. 'Mazad' however means something or someone who reigns supreme, unmolested and without any hindrance. 'Mazara' or 'Mazad' is an ancient Persian term - hence, the term 'Ahura Mazda', or "Great Lord" to the Zoroastrian Parsis. Note the connection between 'hava' or breeze and 'ahur'. The band make such deep parallel connections between 'Allah' and 'Ahura Mazda' using 'hawa' as meaning 'God' just as 'ahur' is used to mean God to Parsis (Pre and Post Islamic Dieties worshipped in Ancient and Modern Persia, Iran).

Please correct me if I am incorrect.
