Why do leave the room so cold
Why are you so young, yet look so old
Why do you scream, but tell me not to shout
Why don't you tell me what the hell this is all about

How can you just sit
And not even care
And how come when I'm near
You pretend that I'm not even there
Why do you hate the world
When the world don't know ****
Why when I ask
You decide to just quit

Are you there when I talk
Are you there when I scream
Are you there when I care
Are you there in my dreams

You're so far away
Even when you're here
You just don't listen
I can't stand another year

Of this pain
Of all the torment
I'm alone in this rain
That's left me bent

Do I stay
Or do I leave
Does it matter
Will you grieve

Don't you understand
The pain you put me through
Do you understand
Or is this something new

I guess I'll just leave
Since you don't care
Enough to talk to me
When I am here

What I want to know is
When I leave tomorrow
Will you shed a single tear
Will there be any sorrow
Will you care then
To know I don't love you
To find that I didn't say bye
Or bid you adieu

Will then you see
All the pain you give me
If not, then I
Will leave forever,

I do write lyrics. I don't play guitar or write music, but I do have what I guess you can call "tunes" for most of what I write, so I could very well put this to music. Thanks to everyone for such positive comments.
