From 1:14-1:26, she sings something in French... but I can barely hear it. I can't find the lyrics to that part online, but I was just going to see if anyone could actually understand it.

This song is an English song. If you want to know all about it, please go to:

I know the song is in English, obviously. But even if you read the Wiki page, it says, "Their lyrics were mixture of French, Spanish and English."

I have a clearer version on my iPod, with better sound quality than the YouTube link, and it just sounds like French to me. All I can understand is when she says "libre", but I don't really know any French so I can't figure out the rest. I'm sure it's not Spanish because I know a bit of Spanish.

Maybe I'll post a clear clip of the song here and someone, someday, will give it a stab? But thanks for listening, taliania and Sheryfa. I really wish that part of the lyrics was written online somewhere... that would make it easier for me, too!

Salut Lumekuninganna, the french words sung by the singer are really difficult to understand, even if I'm french. She has a spanish accent. I found the words on internet:

"Laisse nous être ensemble, toi et moi (Let us be together, you and I).
Et se sentir libres, sentir libres (And feel free, feel free)
Libres de faire tout ce qui nous sauve (Free to do anything that saves us)
De toi" (from you OR of you). (the guy on internet wasn't sure about the last words)

On this link, the words are little more clear if you decrease the sound.

And if you listen carefully, it seems to be these french words. but not sure for the 2 last words.

Have a beautiful day.. ) Bonne journée

Lève les mains en l'air (Lift up your hands in the air)
Remercie ( "HipHop" ?), Dieu et ta mère (Thanks ("Hip Hop"?), God and your mother)
Ils m'ont donné un chemin dans la vie, (They gave me a path in life,)
Des espoirs, de la joie quand on ne pouvait pas sourire. (Hopes, joy when we could not smile.)
Ils m'ont montré un destin pour l'avenir. (They showed me a destiny for the future.)
Toujours les questions d'argent, (Always money matters,)
Qu'est-ce que je fais pour l'obtenir. (What do I do to get it.)
C'est dur des fois quand on ne sait pas pourquoi (It's hard sometimes when we do not know why)
Les flics m'arrêtent à chaque fois. (Cops stop me every time.)
