you know translating Khaleeji sogs is really challenging due to the zillion commo expressions that sometimes have no match in english ..sometime we khaleejies don't understand the meaning..personally i usually try to find match i fosha classical arabic in order to understand the dialect

I think he is a great singer...I like his style...and I really agree with you about the khaleeji dialect. It's really difficult especially for me but it's actually the most beautiful one and the real Arabic is the Khaleeji dialect but in the other parts like Lebanon and that side you see that they mix a lot of English and French with Arabic and they speak the Arabic words very broken which takes away its originality and beauty.

It's interesting....you listened to Irani music and I listen to your music....nice exchange Well my Ipod is totally filled with Saudi and khaleeji songs mainly...
It's not that common here to listen to gulf music but I don't know how I started liking it (you know without anyone around to have the same taste of music as me) and after that I rarely listened to any other music....
Well I like the old Irani songs (at the Shah time, before this regime)....
They were more meaningful and the beats were really nice but these days the music here has become more westernized which is not my type at all...
