@dragonfly93 I really don't know what genre is Boom Boom Paw but definitely is not rap .....I really hate that song

@mike123 you're right gangsta rap is violent, it was from it's beginning and it caused the death of 2 great rappers :TUPAC & BIGGIE

But let's come back to Romanian music You can also check this big names: Iris, Compact, Directia 5, Holograf , Florin Chilian , Ada Milea.

Agreed Crisa I'm sorry if I offended you. It wasn't my intentions.

I like Florin Chilian very much too.

I also like very much Vita de vie - Lasat Pustiu. Have you heard this one? I really should listen to other songs by them.

Vama Veche has some great songs also. One in my mind is epilog.

A friend has gotten me into Hara. the guy has a great voice.

    I hate Boom Boom Pow.

I've asked people plenty of times on different forums for Romanian bands that are similar to Blink 182 and everyone of them they've supplied me with is nothing like them. They're either proper rock right Iris or pop like some other stuff.

Are there any bands out there in Romania like Blink 182???

Well... The main reason I tolerate Boom Boom Pow is because of an inside joke my friends and I have about it

Stevo, have you ever listened to the band Voltaj? I like their music

Stevo Blink 182 are punk/rock? If I'm wrong please correct me .....the only song of them that I know is All the Small Things .....

Voltaj are commercial rock .....so they don't fit

    The only punk/rock Romanian bands I know are : E.M.I.L & ZOB.

Drangonfly Hologrof don't fit either ....They are pop/rock and Stevo wants punk/rock

The bands that I've mentioned in my other post :E.M.I.L & ZOB are for sure punk/rock. Maybe there are others in the underground music ....

Sorry I've taken so long to reply.
I tried a song by E.M.I.L and they seem the closest to Blink-182 so far in comparison to the other stuff people have sent me. Although I personaly think they sound more ska/punk than punk rock.

    Mulțumesc pentru artiști.
    I'll listen to ZOB later.

Sorry Stevo, I just don't listen to much punk/rock Îmi pare rău!

I can only recommend some Etno hits (kind of manele, like ION Din România) or mostly techno (3SE, O-Zone genre), pop (Andreea Bălan genre) and commercial rock (Voltaj genre)... I have various songs though, so PM me if you want me to send any mp3 files

No pproblem Stevo, glad I could help.

Dragonfly PLEASE DO NOT CONFOUND MANELE WITH ETNO MUSIC

Etno music is traditional music on modern sound and manele is a type of music sung by gypsies ( many of the songs are stolen from Turks and Arabs and they say that that the song are theirs and most of them have bad lyrics )

And there is a tv channel called Etno Tv where they broadcast etno music and traditional music if you're interested.

I have yet to meet a romanian who likes manele, but when I was there it was all heard from the radios of cars and radios carried by natives. :P

Actually when I was in eforie nord, Florin Salam was playing a concert there. So I heard it quite loud that day.

Mike unfortunately there are Romanians that listen to this thing ...
Thanks God that there are others that don't , and I'm among them.
I really hope that this music will disappear someday....

And the radios don't broadcast manele , maybe it was some on the cd player from their car .
