I have a mix which is closer - it was the second song in a youtube link in this thread but youtub removed the clip.

I have a hard time matching any rythm in the link you provided, I dont think thats the original, IF its a remix sounds much more like an original mix to me.

I have looked through as many remixes I could find of "air for life" but found no match.

It is I suppose some other song that is simply shares a small similarity.

I missed this when I checked three or so months ago. At some point, 8 months ago, the video creator came back and despite all the interest could only say it was "The Day" by someone who tried their hand at being a DJ in 2003, but he has the rights ... right. Yes still being secretive. However he states it wasn't anywhere you could buy it, or even itunes or anywhere on the web he could see. Of course this begs, how did he come to know about it for a start? :-D

Found. I hate the hell out of 'secretive" youtube nutjob "authors". I guess after being bashed about the song so many times he had to cough up something. "The day" was enough that for once, instead of the countless cross referencing with "1 lap of NYC" like I had done in the past, which resulted with mostly mindless stuff, google actually coughed up "pretty much on top" a forum where a member listed the name of the artist.

I check the video for comments every couple of months or so as well as his site. I've never seen so many lame excuses there as well as his site. I must have missed the comment. Mind given the guys "enthusiasm" I sort of focus more on other member comments.

Searching for trance songs pre 2004 didn't work, even searching for "the day"+2003+trance songs didn't work. I picked through a few nice lists though.
