One home downstairs, another one upstairs,
one home next door and I’m in the middle.
Always I say ‘What am I doing? Where did I come?’

From the one wall they say ‘silence’
from the other they start a fight
the one (says) ‘I’ll call the police’,
‘I’m the owner’, the other responds.

And from the third wall the lady next door
she’s opened her eye, she overhears
and it is more hers the other’s story
what does he have in his bed, what does he have in his life.
