Solved: Who did a cover of the song "lady" by lionel richie?

But im looking for an artist that did a cover on this song and its not kenny rogers, its someone else.. I have been searching the internet but coudlnt find any anything. I've heard the cover off this song several times on the radio.... can someone help me? =)

let me know if this helps - i don't know of a cover version, but the song lionel did is actually called 'lady (you bring me up)', and he did it when he was with the commodores

That is not the original version of "Lady"

Lionel Richie wrote & produced the song for Kenny Rogers who had a #1 hit with it in 1980.

Sometime later, Richie did a Re-Make of it and it never hit the charts at all. I think it was just used as an album filler. It may have had more success in other countries, but not in the U.S.

The song Timbaud mentions, is a totally different song.

According to Wikipedia, there was one other cover of the song done by
La Palabra (whoever that is ?) http://www.palabraonline.com/ .

But there is one other extremely rare version I know of.

My best guess is this....
