This was written for someone I knew who died in war.
So its about him, his daughter and the "glory" of war.

UNTITLED

I never predicted,
The worst could happen
I never saw, the future
charging towards us,
in the form of a bullet.

Every memory we will never see,
And every word that's left unheard
Its all behind you, on the battlefields

Why do we die for our dream?
And every night why does Helenna scream?
Why did you die for your dream?
And does Helenna still scream?

The future is so unknown
Now it can never be found
One stray bullet skimming battlefields
The past can't be unwound

How can they call this glorified?
when they commemorate
our chivalry whom died
Modern day knights in camo
Just as you were

as you were

Why do we die for our dream?
And every night why does Helenna scream?
Why did you die for your dream?
And does Helenna still scream?

Tell me our sins,
Speak to me of what we've become
and will you leave the innocent alone
Tell me where this story begins
and when does it end?

How could you?
Pull a trigger that ends more then one life
Why are you still fighting?
For the lies that they're feeding you,
is it for money?
is it for glory?
Just remember, Memento Mori

To whoever pulled that trigger,
Always remember
Your so vulnerable
On the field, always remember
Your so minuscule

The good die young
and the others die weary
Blisters formed on an innocent tongue
On those who did no wrong
and kept this nation strong.

Why do we die for our dream?
And every night why does Helenna scream?
Why did you die for your dream?
And does Helenna still scream?

Why do we die for our dream?
And every night why does Helenna scream?
Why did you die for your dream?
And does Helenna still scream?

I'm sick of reading the same old lie
I don't want to see another tainted eye
Helenna, there's no more need to scream
You'll meet again someday

Thanks for answering,
much appreciated
