That's so sweet of you Viva

I Keep an eye on BBC and CNN too because I think that today we live in a world that is so well connected that happenings anywhere in the world are bound to affect many others. For eg. Tensions Rise between the two Koreas and whole region China Japan etc are on their toes ... or American Economy takes a nose dive and whole Europe is shaking....so that's globalization.... So You can't say "What do I have to do with this I am too far from the spot of action"....There is nothing like too far these days . And if there is something too far it's Pluto

Short Story -The Window through which we look.

A young couple moved into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young women saw her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
“That laundry is not very clean,” she said. “She doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.”
Her husband looked out but remained silent.
Every timer her neighbor would hang out her wash to dry, the woman would make the same comment.
About one month later the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:
“LOOK, she has learnt to wash correctly!! I wonder who taught her this!
    The husband said….
“I got up early this morning and cleaned the window.”

And So it is with LIFE.
What we see when watching others
Depends on the ‘window’ through which we look.

Well can have two meanings i guess:

    to show off ,to boast
    to tell tall tales

    Which one is more common?

Ah I get what you mean, it doesnt literally mean what a liar, like I said above it is used when you're falsifying something though.

    Ahmad: zain said you copied
    Noor: Ma fashar!

It doesnt literally mean what a liar, but its understood from it that he is lying...fhimt 3alay?
