    @ songlover:

R: Where are you going?! you used it and then you're wiping my face..how disgusting!!

C:I'm sorry, ramadan..it's all my fault..

R:no it's not your fault..the only thing that's bothering me is that they wrinkled my suit..I don't like my suit wrinkled..

C: don't you have suit other than this grey one?

R:how come?! I have another beige one..

    C:beige?!

R:yes, like the color of tea with milk..when something happens to this Grey one, the beige will work instead of it..

    C:look ramadan..I want to buy you a souvenir..a new suit I mean.

R:do you think you can find this style anywhere?!!

    C: no of course..

R:why are you hitting me with the rabbit?

C:I'm joking ramadan..don't you ever joke?!

    R:no I joke, honey..

I will be grateful If the Arabic sentence is also provided along with the Translation. It's a small one. Thanks

maghroora sarlek modde = Is it realted to mashgool like busy??
no, it's not realted to mashghool...maghroor means "arrogant" and "maghroora" is the female adjecive..
    "sarlek" means "you've been....for"
    "modde" means "a while"
so the sentence basically says" you've been arrogant for a while"

nsiti el bayt bras ejjerd = I forgot my house.... ???
nsiti= you forgot...the "I" in the end gives the meaning of "you"..if it was "nsit" it would have meant"I forgot"

ras ejjerd is the name of a place..so "b ras ejjard" means "in ras ejjard"

so the sentence means"you forgot the house in ras ejjard"

yama lyali thalj we bard = the night is snowy and cold?
    "yama" gives the meaning of"many"..
so "yama layali thalj w bard" means "there's many snowy and cold nights"

good job gagan!! you're ve got most of the sentences correct which is really awesome

    Hi Thanks a lot Farah

Well I have heard Maghroor too In almost the same sense as in Arabic.
    If I say

Tum bahut Maghroor Insan ho = You are a very conceited or arrogant person

    Thanks for the compliment

So If I get it right...

    modifet = Hostess

    modifet tayran = Air

    modifet tayran = Anchor

    modifet tayran=stewardess(during the flight)

3alameya=anchor(a television reporter who coordinates a broadcast)

    hawaa2= هواء =air

Thanks for your encouragement CZAREK. Actually While watching Arabic movie Teer Enta I realized that it is not that I can't make out what's going on...Most of the times I can because actions speak louder than words. But the actual problem is I can't separate out the words!! that's because my ears are not used to listening to Arabic.

If I say to U I am Gagan your brain can make out three words are spoken and distinguish between them because your brain is used to English. So I thought only increasing the vocabulary is not enough you should be able to pick the words from speech too. So that is why I am trying to give some audio training to my ears too

I must confess when I started listening to Nancy and Cyrine songs I could hardly make out anything without subs...But now I can at least make a guess
