As you see she likes joking ,but on the other hand she is very demanding ,so remember when you entered here once there's no retreatThis is the first and the last rule.

Zak:You will not find better teacher as she is ,wallaheAnd stay close to Viva and for sure
you will be "شاطر" in arabic. She is so helpfull for me and knows everything starting from Levantine Dialect-Egyptian-Gulf and now she is specialising in Maroccan\Tunisian also.

Syrian and Lebanese dialect seems to me very nice and the most understandable(however many ppl say Egyptian dialect is the famous one(to be honest I dont like it as much as Levantine one.Viva still didnt give me any lesson baout Palestinian and Jordanian accent ,but maybe soon I will ask her.

Oh dear Czarek Palestinian and Jordanian are easy to learn, just put a q instead of a 2 every where

    Example: I dont want
    Lebanese/Syrian : Ma bidi
    Palestinian/Jordanian: Bidish

You're too kind dear, but I promise you I'm not joking You're the best student I've ever had and the most dedicated and of course a dear friend!!

Yallah tis nearly midnight here, good night and tomorrow morning ia I'll reread both your posts carefully (assuming a good internet connection inshallah)

    Good night!!

5er -> Means good, so its actualy a question, 5eir? If you're expecting news you say 5eir/good?

Czarek showed you the main difference between sar and sayir, they both mean the same thing, but sar is normaly used in past tense, sho sar ma3ak would be what happened with you, sho sayir ma3ak is what is happening with you

Arabic script wise, Czarek did it correct but wrote ma3 instead of ma

I will try to respond ur question of course Viva did it but...

5'=خ i put 55' means there is shadda
    3'=غ

In Levantine Arabic دخل بي=da55'al bee=to interfere

    لا تدخل بشؤ,ن غيرك=la teda55'al be-sho2on 3'ayrak=Dont interfere in other people afair's!

    or تدخل في=interfere ...

ما بدي اتدخل في حياتك=ma bedde atada55'al fee 7ayaatak=I dont want to meddle in your life

Viva one question what is the difference between verb دخل و تدخل i am always confused about this two types of verb.Plz try to explain in to me

    Da5ala - Entered

    Al walad da5ala al3'orfa (classical)

    Tad5ol - To enter

The first is the past tense, the second is the root verb Czarek

okay heres the link above and its the first two minutes!!!!

I swear the old guy man i cant understand a WORD! Reminds me of when my great uncles would come over to our house in Syria and just as i was feeling that i made progress in Arabic theyd come over and chat to me and it was impossible to make sense of anything!! Just the voice alone is quite inpenetrable! Anyway no rush but i look forward to any help u can offer Words i don’t know are repeated in Arabic in paranthesis 

Uslan inte shabe wa23eey ma n2der n2allak amel heek o sawee heek inte bidak t5tar binefsak. Wen bidak tayshoof o shakel il7eyat illey bidak yaha. Inte bidak tqrr shu bidak tsawee. Iza bit7eb 3eesh m3na il beit maftoo7 illak.

Basicly/actually you are a ‘wa23ey’ guy...we cant tell u to do this and do that.. you have to choose for yourself... where you want ‘tayshoof’ and ‘shakel’ the life you want. You have to decide what you want to do. If you’d like to live with us the house is open for you!

Inte kan jizer min 3ylatna.. o hela ma tgeyer shee... inte tab3n o5ooa la benatey.. yi3nne hella r7 n2illo u5ee.. o ra7t 3eesh m3na Kaman... kil wa7ed marta7o beito makano.. wa howe kteer mabsoot ma ahlo ma heek fatime... ibne makano maroof o beito maroof lesh la ateyab hon? Yianni ra7 tseer kenaton mittel kanetna?

You were ‘jizar’ from our family and now, nothing has changed. You are of course a brother to my girls. So now we call him brother!?! And youre gunna live with us!? Everyone ‘marta7o’ his house is his place (IM SURE THIS IS WRONG!!!) and he’s really happy with his family isn’t that right fatime! Son, his place is well know, his house well known why ‘la ateyab’ here? You mean ‘ra7 tseer kenaton mittel kenetna’?

roula ma3 7a2... bi ma ibney ibnak o lesem qyarley kanet ma 3teeni gerfet beetak? Ma 3ndak shwarma. Shugley se7le inak t3teeni grafak beitak bas sa3b t3teni ismak ya beek. Uslan inte ibne o tab3n r7 ta7mal isem 3alitna... bas tawel belak... lieno mittel ma btaref kilshi sar fja2.. akeed r7 le ihal ... minshuf... Ne7ne shb3ana...o bidna nimshi.. dayme insha allah

roula is in the right... ‘bi ma’ my son is your son ‘o lesem qyarley kanet’ you would give me a room in your house... you don’t have ‘shwarma (SURELY THIS IS WRONG!!)’ its an easy thing to give me a room in your house but difficult to give me your name ‘ya beek’.... ‘uslan’ you are my son and of course you will ‘ta7ma’ our family name ... but calm down.. because as you know everything has come as a surprise... for sure ‘r7 le ihal’... we’ll see. We’re full, we want to go for a walk.. daymeh insha allah (post meal pleasentry).

Inte la hella matsaker feey.. bas feker bi kalamey...hada islam dayesh kteer wa haban wa hel mawdoo3 ma ra7 inte.... hel mawdoo3 o7aba.. (....cant get a word....) da3deney 3asi....

Seriously i have no idea what he just said :s

Czarek - Here you go I'm not 100% sure about the spelling 3ashan its all in dialect not fus7a :s

Dad where are you going, you're still tired
I want to go and get some fresh air, I'm sick of the repairs, I need to go out and take a walk
Okay dad but look after yourself you are still weak
Haha weak what daughter? I'm good. Your husband wants to send the boy Rislan to his family, it would be better if you take care, pay attention daughter, this boy shouldnt be underestimated, he's going to be a nuisance with his problems and he's not going to let us rest
Thats never going to happen, over my dead body
It will it will, and you will see, it will and tomorrow you shall see, and now Ihsan will stop working in Amir's farm soon and whats going to happen then? Where will we get it? Sohayla's son is waiting, and these few metres we have left are going to fly from under your noses and you, poor you you dont realise
Stop it dad, enough, I'm already dizzy like someone's been hit on the head, I cant think straight
I swear I know nobody likes the one that says the truth, thats natural. And now its time for me to take my walk, look after yourself daughter, okay, yallah take care

A side note, I didnt watch this series, only maybe two episodes, but I think what I remember happened is that Rislan (Sohayla's son) is actually Nariemans (the woman talking)'s husband's bast*** and he brings him into the house and makes him part of the family, and Narieman is worried about the money. But of course I didnt watch it, so I have no idea truthfully, and its an old series

Looool Zak 3adi, wallah I used to feel the same zaman bas inzilit 3a libnan wil 2ordon, people would be like, erm can you say that again please?? Haha bas hala2 people just assume my accent is cause I'm syrian Shhhh dont tell them the truth

Uslan inte shabe wa23eey ma n2der n2allak amel heek o sawee heek inte bidak t5tar binefsak. Wen bidak t3isho shakel il7eyat illey bidak yaha. Inte bidak tqrr shu bidak tsawee. Iza bit7eb it3eesh m3na il beit maftoo7 illak.

Basicly/actually you are a ‘wa23ey’ guy...we cant tell u to do this and do that.. you have to choose for yourself... where you want ‘tayshoof’ and ‘shakel’ the life you want. You have to decide what you want to do. If you’d like to live with us the house is open for you!

    wa3i - aware/mature, t3ish - to live, shakel - shape (your life)

Inte kint jizer min 3ylatna.. o hela ma tgeyer shee... inte tab3n o5ooa la benatey.. yi3nne hella r7 n2illo u5ee.. o ra7t 3eesh m3na Kaman... kil wa7ed mirta7beito makano.. wa howe kteer mabsoot ma ahlo ma heek fatime... ibne makano maroof o beito maroof lesh la 7ata yib2ahon? Yianni ra7 tseer kenaton mittel kanetna?

You were ‘jizar’ from our family and now, nothing has changed. You are of course a brother to my girls. So now we call him brother!?! And youre gunna live with us!? Everyone ‘marta7o’ his house is his place (IM SURE THIS IS WRONG!!!) and he’s really happy with his family isn’t that right fatime! Son, his place is well know, his house well known why ‘la ateyab’ here? You mean ‘ra7 tseer kenaton mittel kenetna’?

You were a part of this family and now nothing has changed, you are of course my daughters brothers...so do we call him brother now? And will you live with us? Everyone is comfortable in their house and place, and he's happy with his family, right Fatima? My sons place is known, and his house is known, why should he stay here? So will his family name be the same as ours?

    jiz2 - part
    matra7o - his place
    tib2a - stay
kinye - legally belonging to that family, same name

roula ma3a 7a2... bi ma iny ibnak mo lesem t3'ayirli kinyite ablma t3teeni gerfet beetak? Ma 3ndak jawab. sha3'le sehle inak t3teeni 3'irfit beitak bas sa3b t3teni ismak ya beek. Rola is right, seeing as I'm your son shouldnt you change my name before you give me a room in your house? You have no answer, its easy to give me a room in your house, but its hard to give me your surname sir. Rislan you are my son, and of course you will carry the family name, but be patient, because as you know everything happened too quickly, we'll see. Mrs Narieman shall I bring the rice now? We're full, we want to go, bon appetit.

    Inte la hella ma 3am tisa2i feey.. bas feker bi kalamey...hada rislan dayij ikteer wa 3'adban wa hel mawdoo3 ma ra7 yintihi.... hel mawdoo3 ra7 yib2a o aktar wa7de ra7 tit2asar hiye fatin.. sad2ini3asi....

You still dont trust me, but think about my words, Rislan is very angry and this topic isnt going to go away, its going to stay, and the one that will be hurt most by it will be Fatin, believe me 3asi

Let me know if there are specific words you dont understand Its fine, you just dont catch some words when they talk to fast Well done!!
