Okay for shaam, you put a hamze so its now read sha2am
and you said ana na6er limosa3aditkom, you didnt need to just say, ana na6er mosa3aditkom without the lam

Do you mean a song? Do you want strictly syrian, or anything from a blad shaam? Theres this song which I translated yesterday, its sung by a syrian, and the words are easy to hear, but there are no arabic lyrics for it anywhere yet want to give it a try?

    Omitted - hazafto
    skipped - ma qari2t

so you could say 7azaft if you wanted to but its a bit too fus7a for my taste , or you could you say ma2riyt haydiki iljomle fa mafhimt sho asdik

Hello yitzana5 means to annoy/piss someone off

zini5 is when you describe someone, you say inta zini5/inti zin5a or you could say ma azna5ik (it mean you're so zin5a/annoying)

zanna5a is a noun - sho hal zana5a (whats this idiocy)

I was only messing around with Oriee, I didnt mean to teach you an unpleasant word but what I said was: sometimes one feels like annoying/irritating/messing around a bit

so yitzana5 doesnt have a shada, I think you could write it يتزانخ , and the ya at the start makes it a present verb

First of all ,thank you so much for clarification
All is واضح for me now

No problem Viva ,I am here for learning an Arabic and I think it is good that I am hearning this word from you.As a part of mastering "dialect",bad words need to be known also(of course no need to know them too much as a beginner like me,but with time I think I will have a long list
of them as in every language.

so yitzana5 doesnt have a shada, I think you could write it يتزانخ , and the ya at the start makes it a present verb
I will leave more questions concerning arabic in the evening

    Take care

    Default Syrian Arabic

    Hi there,

As I promised I have few questions about Syrian Arabic(well I think in general about dialect).I am
trying to focus mostly on "Shamee slang",but some sentences nad words can he heard also in other part of Arab country.

Ok lets start then.I am translating one of the famous Turkish serial which is translated int o Syrian Arabic.Mostly i would like to focus on good translation to see if I understand the sentences properly.I might here something bad so please forgive ,but in 90% i think it is good

    1)
بالأول ادفع الديون الي عليك بعدين ببقى بعطيك
First of all ,pay debets (..........) and after that(.......)I will give you

    *what الى عليك" means here?
*what (ببقى) means "to stay",to remain but here ,is it for emphasizng only or has diffrent meaning ?

2)مو هداك اليوم أخذت مني خمسين يورو
Didn't (you) take from me 15 Euro?
    Does :7adaak refers (to you)?

    3).هلأً ليش كل هاللعي?

    Why is that all(......)
لعى=i found this word in my "dialect dictionary" as it means to feel sick
معدتي بتلعي-I am sick to my stomache
But in this context for sure it is not like "to feel sick"

4)محل ما ولدت و انا ماسكيك و رجيتك الشارع و عرفتك عالجيران
    Context:
Here he is describing what he was dreaming about to his girlfriend
Translations:The place of my birth ,and I touch you,and (request you ,or ask for you hand???)on the street, and I introduced you to my neighbour's

    5)ولك حل عني ????
Context:The gay is answering telephone and asking other guy
    This one i didnt understand

6)وعالسريع, حجزت وايجيت, يعني قديش معك
and in a hurry,I booked and ( she came?),means ,How much do you have?
This one also a bit complicated

7)لو كنا بالبلد كانوا العرسان دفعولي بلاوي
When we were in coutntry ,the brides??? paid us (......)
    balaawe??

    8)مادام ناوي تقعد وتشتغل هون
As long as you intend to stay(sit here) and work here
Just check if I am right?

9)اصلاً عم تستنى غلطة وحدة لحتى اتقلعك من الشغل
(.......) she is waiting for one mistake and.......(fire you)from work
    اصلاً؟؟؟؟
    اتقلع؟؟؟

    10.
اجيت ميرنا نبهة عليها اتبكر و تأخرت
Miryan came ,warn her???she should be earlier but she was late???

    11)والله طلعت منالشغل بالزور
Really! I went our from my job in.......
    bez-zoor??

12)مصطفى يا بنتي الله يتمم على خير
What الله يتمم على خيرmeans here?

Ok i think enough for now
I will be glad if you give good explanation for my questions
    Thanx in advance
    Czarek
