    Talking Ti thalassa ti galani.

Hello! I have to sing 'Ti thalassa ti galani' with my Balkan band, which plays music from Greece, Bulgaria and other areas in the region. The problem is that I can't find the written lyrics anywhere and I am afraid that if I try to transcribe them I'll get many consonants wrong, since I don't speak Greek (apart from a collection of random words mostly learned from songs and friends).

For some reason the recorded version that we have is entitled "Na tan ithalassatena". Anyway, the song is very famous and it confuses me no end that its lyrics are apparently unavailable on the internet. Many versions of the song are on YouTube, but here is one:

(In fact this one is very very similar to the recording my band has).

    And here is another:

Thank you very much to whomever can help me with this! Evkharisto poli. -Ants mirmiki.

    Thumbs up

Thank you thank you thank you, also on behalf of my band.

Small question: is this the correct second verse of the first video or third verse of the second video?

    Asi tan borizameno
    Ki asi tan amborousa
    Na tan ithalassa steria
    Na tin e perpatousa

In the second video they seem to say 'Asi tan to ghliko nero' for the first line.

I just can't trust my ability to hear the sounds correctly.

Thank you very much for helping me! Fillakia - Ants.
