    really "whammy" sound, but nothing in their discography...maybe it's one of the copycats that sounded like this in 83/84 - still quite a nice song
    Apparently "Hollywood" is part of the lyrics (what a progress eh! )

    Well, the first half of the song, the lyrics are mostly indistinct & unrecognizable with the high register apart from the "aahh ahhh.. yeahh yeahhhss" -- Towards the end, It does sound a little like George Michael singing "Now my drug is down in Hollywood.. the kind that came with.. what they asking for the people" or something to that effect.

    I had to put this file in Goldwave and clean it up just to hear some of the lyrics.

    Sounds like really obscure funk 80s.

    I thought it said.....

    "Girl likes driving down in Hollywood"

    which made me think Ry Cooder - "Down in Hollywood"

    it's close....but no cigar.
