Well inti fahme 3aly, so im guessing middle eastern accent isnt too bad for you? I know many people find egyptian easy...??
mmm im eating ma7sh/dolma bidek?
ma7shi/dolma = stuffed vegetables??
bidek = trideyn? Do you want some?
how do you say it in algerian/morrocan?
bidek/tryidiyen/tabeen/3ayza...all the accents you could ever want
im running out of accents here...tib3'een? (iraqi)
Lol yes please ask your parents and get back to me They should know what ma7shi/dolma is too, Im sure you guys do it kaman
I can help here I guess ,cos I looked at my notes and here it goes
Verb "want" in MA is بغى=b3'a
ex:I want to go swimming=بغيت نمشي نعوم=b3'et nemshee n3oom
or I want to buy a suit=بغيت نشري شئ كشوة=b3'et neshree she keshwa
Viva "n" before verb relates to pronoun "I "
Hope it will help a bit
Yes it does thank you
Oh is it similar to the Iraqi tab3'een? So in MA would it be, 'b3'eteen'? for do you want?
Oh really?
sorry, i did'nt know that :$
I only now the 3,7 and 2....
3adi dear no worries, did you see La Rosa's maghreb thread? Specially for me
Mmm there is 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 3', 6' and sometimes I've seen people use 4 too Poor 1 it must be feeling left out...
Hey just a random comment about this, I think the reason for that is because in arabic you have tashkeel, so each letter has three sounds, for instance for alf, aa, ee, oo, for ba, ba bi bo, for ta, ta ti to etc
So when you take a word like qatar, the first letter qaf is pronounced
qa
second letter 6a is pronounced
6a
third letter ra is pronounced
r
so you already have the vowels incoporated with the letters does that make sense?
Arabic distinguishes between short and longs vowels.
Short vowels are written by fat'ha , damma and kasra above the consonants
Ex : بَ بُ بِ كَتَبَ شَرِبَ نُُمرة
Long or stressed vowels are writting by fat'ha , damma and kasra above the the alif , the waw and the ya
Ex: بَاب كَاتِب كِتَاب مَكْتُوب

Of course dear, here you go:
2 = ء sound
3 = ع
3' = غ
4 = I've only ever seen this once, its not used, ذ
5 = خ
6 = ط
6' = ظ
7 = ح
8 = ض
9 = ق
This would make it me easier to understand the numerals.
shoukrane ktir.
Well before trying to learn arabic,there is a thing which you should know.
To can speak arabic language good you must have some1 close to you to speak speak whit him face to face.There are some letters which you must "SEE" how are pronounced.I've meet a person which isn't arab but she spend almost 20 years in a arabic country and to can pronounce "He" in some words she must rise her head up.Also is impossible to learn arabic language just form songs
