    Hi!

I am not a native speaker of English and, although I've been studying this language for over ten years, sometimes I just can't make sense out of sounds at all!

I would like to know the lyrics for the song 'Jimmy Jean', by Ellen McIlwaine.
    In http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzHUU9Lj5u0

Before the scat singing I could identify:

    "______________________(?) Jimmy Jean
Did he ever get back on to New Orleans
Sitting on a rail, on a fence, on a ___________(?) (back row?)
    Listening to the mourning/morning (?) _______________(?)"
    (scat singing)

    Can you hep me?
    Thanks a LOT!

    Thas.

    Hello thacan,

I listened and I think I have a few more words for you but with her singing style it is hard to understand all the words.

Wintertime makes me wonder about Jimmy Jean (???)
Did he ever get back home to New Orleans (???)
Sitting on a rail, on a fence, on a back road (????)
Listen to the mourning dove sing her song to the hop ?toad?(come on sing it baby)

    (scat singing)
