Solved: Please ID this: "Heat Of The Night", 80s disco funk

Here's another one I have to post here because of the exorbitantly used title :-/

I have often been able to identify an obscure song by looking at discography sites or so, but the problem is that I get so much drowned in "Heat of the night" titles enough to make a search rather pointless

So I hope this voice will ring a bell to anyone of you guys (I remember a similar one who sang in the 90s in the SNAP! project, BTW)

A funk expert was able to help me out!
NO sound samples except for a full song file in above-average quality which I'd rather refrain from posting for obvious reasons...

Yes, that's definitely the same song. Google it and you'll find a link to the full song in good quality.

So you're saying that I posted the same link you were talking about? Ok, I edited my other post (I also post at AZLyrics where every other thread is a request for a song download).

Yes I said it: it's tolerated with one (or even two) eyes closed, but the threshold that it could be exaggerated may be reached in no time.
