Sweetie, egyptian and moroccan are so different you should only start with one

I dont know about other websites, but ATL has this thread for learning maghreb dialect, and there is also a thread for learning egyptian...decide which dialect you want (there is also classical arabic if you want and syrian and iraqi, take your pick) and then join

    Welcome to the forum dear

Its split into two, there is the translation request, where you can ask for lyrics (in arabic or in latin characters) and for translations.

The other part is this learning thread, where you can ask just about anything you want, and practise your own accent and improve your arabic

For learning, you have, the moroccan thread, the syrian (levantine) thread, the iraqi thread, the egyptian thread and the egyptian one.

If there is another accent you want, just open a new thread for it

I left a comment, but god knows where it went

Egyptian accent is easier to pick up, as are the words themselves, they are memorable But the maghreb dialect is hard to pronounce anyway, they have a way of stretching words Like 7naynaaa instead of my typical 7anone

There is alot of influence from the french collonization, but more so in Algeria. Infact algerian dialect is probably the hardest (tunisian is easiest!) because it has lots of french vocab in it, as well as the Berber influence...that means that even people in Algeria speak different to each other

Lol yes exactly like that, I'm wondering why no one has oppened a gulf dialect, Citlalli wanted one, and I told her to open it, but she never got round to it

Basically, the Moroccan language is Arabic spoken with a Berberic accent, stuffed with tons of French words and a few Spanish Good luck!!
