Default Marco Hietala - Ensimmäinen Joulu

I'd like to ask you to help me with the translation of the Finnish Christmas song sung by Marco Hietala (from the album Raskaampaa Joulua)

    Ensimmäinen Joulu (The First Christmas)

Joulu ensimmäinen tuo jolloin paimenten luo tuli enkeli riemua ilmoittamaan
Joulu ensimmäinen on yhä muuttumaton saman sanoman jouluna kuulla mä saan
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on syntynyt viaton Jeesus on
Yhä paimenien loisti tähtönen luokse itämaan viisaita johdattajien
valo maailman luo sama tähtönen tuo joka joulu se loistaa näin ilmoittajien
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on syntynyt viaton Jeesus on

Joulu ensimmäinen tuo jolloin paimenten luo tuli enkeli riemua ilmoittamaan
Joulu ensimmäinen on yhä muuttumaton saman sanoman jouluna kuulla mä saan
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on syntynyt viaton Jeesus on
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on syntynyt viaton Jeesus on
    Syntynyt viaton on
    Joulu on joulu on

I've tried to translate it by myself but I didn't manage to understand everything and it might not quite make sense in places or perhaps I'd got something wrong. So here's my rough translation with great help of Google Translate:

The first Christmas comes when to the shepherds came angels announcing joy
The first Christmas has still the same unchanging message, I just can hear it at Christmas
It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas, it’s Christmas Christmas, the innocent Jesus is born
Shepherds still, a star shone leading the wise from the East to the place
The same star creates light of the world which brings Christmas, it shines so informatively
It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas, it’s Christmas Christmas, the innocent Jesus is born

and then there's nothing new to translate in the second verse

Thank you very much in advance!

    Default Ensimmäinen joulu

you have figured it out pretty well, there are only few things i would change

Joulu ensimmäinen tuo jolloin paimenten luo tuli enkeli riemua ilmoittamaan
(that first Christmas when to the shepherds came angels announcing joy)
Joulu ensimmäinen on yhä muuttumaton saman sanoman jouluna kuulla mä saan
(the first Christmas is still unchanging, i can hear that same message at Christmas)
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on syntynyt viaton Jeesus on
(It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas, it’s Christmas Christmas, the innocent Jesus is born)
[[there is mistake in finnish lyrics"Yhä paimenien loisti tähtönen luokse itämaan viisaita johdattajien" should be:]]
YLLÄ paimenien loisti tähtönen, luokse itämaan viisaita JOHDATTAEN
(upon the shepherds shone the star, leading the wise from the east to them)
valon maailmaan luo sama tähtönen tuo joka joulu se loistaa näin ilmoittajien
(same star brings the light to the world, every Christmas it shines announcing this)
Joulu on joulu on joulu joulu on, syntynyt viaton Jeesus on
(It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas, it’s Christmas Christmas, the innocent Jesus is born)

and as you said, there's nothing new in second verse

Tämähän on siis alunperin englanninkielinen laulu. Tässä biisin taustat ja alkuperäiset sanat.

The First Noel is unknown in origin but is generally thought to be English dating back to the sixteenth century. There is a misconception that the First Noel was French and it is believed that this is because of the French spelling of Noel as opposed to the olde English Anglo-Saxon spelling of the word as in Nowell. After England was captured by the Normans numerous words were adopted from the Norman French language and Noel was re-spelt as Nowell, early printed versions of this carol use the Nowell spelling. The First Noel was first published in 1833 when it appeared in "Christmas Carols Ancient and Modern," a collection of seasonal carols gathered by William B. Sandys.

    The First Noel

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

And by the light of that same star
Three Wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

This star drew nigh to the northwest
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both Pause and stay
Right o'er the place where Jesus lay.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then entered in those Wise men three
    Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!
