Who sang this song? (little known 70's Michigan local singer)

I would appreciate it if someone could help me remember this guy's name. He was a little known local Michigan native, and I only know of 2 songs that he cut. I'm sure he cut more, I just don't know/remember them. One of them is an all time favorite, and I've been trying to remember his name so I can try and find it. The song is entitled, "Thoughts of You," and here are some of the lyrics:

Do you remember any lyrics from the other song. 'Thoughts of You' must be a very obscure song or the title is incorrect.
