Default need help finding arabic drum music

    hi all,
I would like to make a cd for my Moroccan friend as we both love drum music but I can not seem to find any music of just darbouka or arabic style drumming.
Does anyone know the names of any artists or have any favorites that I should look up?
    Many thanks!

    Rabih Merhi: http://www.facebook.com/posted.php?id=39937831195

Khemish Henkesh, very famous egyptian drummer

also try to find ISSAM HOUSHAM, he is drum player for the bellydance superstars and has released several CDs

When you enter those names in youtube you will find a lot of samples to listen to. in google you will find stores to buy their CDs.

    Hope I could help you

'Istanbul Grooves' is a good one.

If memory serves me correct, Didem danced on it - quite amazingly one must add
