    Hi pinky_girl,
as far as I see you are one of Persian specs here, allow me to ask: don't you like 'Nargis' or Azam Ali's performance or...

At youtube I added a comment about

Nargis: In arabic meaning is: Narcissus; flower.
The name "Nargis" is an Urdu word meaning daffodil(narcissus); the word has its roots in the Persian name Nargess, which has the same meaning.

Is that sentence correct? What does "ra" stand for? What does it mean in english? When do I use it in a sentence and how do I know when to use it?

yeah it's totally correct " ra" is a sign for the object...in Persian whenever we have an object we put "ra" after that.
    for example :
I bought the book = Man ketab ra kharidam
I saw my friend =Man doostam ra didam

    Hi dear
I know Azam Ali and once I listened to some of her songs but didn't like it very much...but it doesn't mean that she is not good enough , the truth is that it was not my type...anyway , I just downloaded "nargess" and i liked it..the melody was something new

    Thanks for answering,
it is quite natural an artist to have some unworthy production, in fact I am careless of how many scrap songs one has I cherish songs regardless of the all surroundings, that is, for themselves.

I strongly recommend to give not an ear but two to Conjure One - Exilarch (2010) album from where Conjure One Nargis Feat (Azam Ali) originates.
It is one truly fantastic album.

And I still have a hidden hope this song to be transcribed on this forum, I searched the INTERNET for its lyrics and I couldn't find it.

    @pinky_girl:

I want to salute you (for your readiness to help me) with at least one song from my short playlist at:
    http://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/mu...ove-songs.html

I think it is a good idea everyone to share his/hers favorite songs in order other members to be able to fill the gaps in their own playlist with songs which by bad chance they didn't come across.

    please translate in persian

    Mevsim rüzgarları ne zaman eserse
    O zaman hatırlarım
    Çocukluk rüyalarım
    Şeytan uçurtmalarım

    Öper beni annem yanaklarımdan
    Güzel bir rüyada
    Sanki sevdiklerim hayattalarken hala

    Akşama doğru azalırsa yağmur
    Kız Kulesi ve Adalar
Ah burda olsan çok güzel hala
    İstanbul'da sonbahar

    Her zaman kolay değil
    Sevmeden sevişmek
    Tanımak bir vücudu yavaşça öğrenmek
    Alışmak ve kaybetmek

    İstanbul bugün yorgun
    Üzgün ve yaşlanmış
    Biraz kilo almış
    Ağlamış yine, rimelleri akıyor

    Salam,

I've got a big problem about the verbs. When should I say "beram", wen ",miram"? (by the way beravam-beram is the same, yeah?)
And also, when should I say "migam", when "begam", or "goftam"-"migoftam" ?

Hi dear ps what's up? glad to see u again
first of all miram=miravam and beram=beravam...
miram" has present tens and means "I go" but "beram" is subjunctive mood and means "that I go"

    For example :
I go to school= man be madrese miram
It's necessary that I go to school= lazeme ke be madrese beram .

I say what he said= man chizi ke oon goft ro migam
she asked me to say what he said= Oun azam khast chizi ro ke oun goft begam!

I told him the whole story =Hameye majera ro barash goftam (goftam is the past tense)
I was telling him the whole story= Dashtam hameye majera ro barash migoftam .(migoftam is past continous)

if you need more examples or explanations , just ask me

Salam pinky_girl aziz. Khoobam, mamnoon. Shoma khoobi?

Baleh, I see... Thank you for the examples, that's clearly.
So, I have to say "Man mikham be Iran miram", right?

    Manam khoobam , mamnoon...no it's not correct...u should say this way :

Man mikham be Iran beram. in fact it's like : man mikhaham ke be Iran beravam but we make it shorter and say : mikham be iran beram...whenvere we have "ke" you have to use sujunctive..

    some examples :
He wants to eat =Ou mikhahad ke ghaza bokhorad

Mybe I go there = Shayad ke be anja beravam/shayad beram ounja

I hope you come with us =Omidvaram ke ba ma biyayi

I'm afraid he arrives late=Mitarasm ke dir beresad

If you call me , I won't answer=Agar ke behem zang bezani , javam nakhaham dad (u can say also :javab nemidam)

In conversation we usually omit "ke"...

    e.x :
If you give me the book , I can study=Age ketab ro be man bedi ,mitoonam dars bekhoonam!
I hope to see u again=Omidvaram dobare bebinamet
I don't like do the dishes =Doost nadaram zarfa ro beshooram!

you see ...there is no "ke"

    Ok, thank you very much.
By the way, I've got a second question...
Does "Chi shode?" mean "What's happening?", and "Chi shod?" "What happened?"?
