Piccolo is a small bottle of sparkling wine (0,2 litres) (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pikkolo_%28Sekt%29.
Mixing beer and sparkling wine is not common in here.


Bommerlunder (like Akvavit) is no brandy but distilled from grain or potatoes and spiced with herbal essences, mainly caraway.
So if you like to translate it, Akvavit would be appropriate.

Thanks for looking this over. These drinks are unknown to me. I looked them up.
This is where I got brandy from for Bommerlunder http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bommerlunder_(Spirituose)

I can't find where I found what I put for Piccolo. Maybe I got confused I thought that would be an odd combination but I'm not an accomplished drinker so who knows.

The word "Branntwein" or "Brandwein" in German is used in the sense of "sprit".

"Brandy", a sprit, distilled from grapes, is "Weinbrand" in German (sounds weird, doesnt it?).
