Unidentified RnB song in A&E

I saw this clip @ A&E yesterday; it had an Rnb type feel, the clip had a dude strumming a guitar as well as a flashing fluorescent boom box and the lyrics *might* have gone a little like:

"you gotta gotta turn me on-on, you gotta gotta turn me on". Or maybe it was "turn *it* on"?.....

I have to find out who sings this song soon, else I will loose my mind!
