    Default Translation check- 110 Gitme

Hi, I think I chose the easiest song in all Turkish to try to translate first. (If there is an easier song, please....tell me so I can try that instead. ) But still I think there are probably some mistakes I did, so please let me know a better way. It will not impress anyone...it's so simple, but I just want to see if I am understanding the grammar a little. Thanks!

    110- Gitme

Dur Gitme // Wait, don't go
Beni böyle öldürme // Don't kill me like this
    Sus dinle // Shhh, listen
Şehir çok sessiz bu gece // The city is so quiet tonight

Sonunda anladım // In the end I got it/understood
Sensiz çok yalnızım // I'm so alone without you
    Hatalıyım // It's my fault
Ben sana aşığım // I'm in love with you

Ruhum dayanmaz bu sessizliğe // My soul can't stand this silence
    Gitme
    Beni öldürme
Kalbim dayanmaz bu gidişe // My heart can't stand this leaving

My doubt is the word 'gidişe'...Can this also mean 'way of living'?

Thanks Milena. I hope soon I can try something a little more difficult.

Ok, does this grammar make sense: Hayat life + ım my/1st person singular + ın possessive/genitive ending + gidişini the -ini added to 'gidiş'..? I'm thinking the -i is to show it is the object/accusative, but I'm not sure why the -ni (?) + beğen like (beğenmek) + miyorum negative + 1st person singular present

I hope I made sense. It makes sense in my mind, at least.
