I need help to translate those verses :

فيا قلب مهلآ و لا ترتم
على درب عودتنا موهنا
يعز علينا غداً
أن تعود رفوف الطيور
و نحن هنا


1) I'm not sure how to translate مهلآ . Is the word misspelled ?

2) ترتم - I couldn't find out what it means. I suppose the root is رتم

3) What means موهنا ?

فيا قلب مهلآ و لا ترتم
Oh heart slow down and do not throw yourself

ترتم is from tartamy (ramy) to toss/throw

مهلآ is spelled right, have you ever heard the saying "3a mahlak" it means to slow down, take your time, be calm and patient

على درب عودتنا موهنا
On the path of our return which is not here
[mo - not, hena - here]

يعز علينا غداً
It is difficult for us to cope with tomorrow/the future

أن تعود رفوف الطيور
That the flock of birds returns

و نحن هنا
And we are here

1) مهلاً is correct, but it has tanween over lam
2) ترتم:
Originally is ترتمي but ya2 was dropped because of declension i3rab thing...
You'll find it under رمي root
3) موهنا: from the noun وهن أي ضعف attinuation
